Finalizing method and hate is turning out extremely difficult.
Resources become poor: time and mental strength are extremely rare resources nowadays. We are sacrifying ourselves to reach the target.
Once again, [dK] sacrify themselves for mankind.

[Glazzy] is taking care of this phase, he’s nicknamed “the professor”, because he’s educated and knows his things.
He’s alone at this task, alone because the epilogue of a record is an adventure for one person only, bound to one person’s decisions, to one person’s vision, to one person’s karma.
The rest of [dK] sends [glazzy] trust and empathy.

Portare a termine method and hate si sta rivelando estremamente difficile.
Le risorse diventano scarse: tempo e forza mentale sono oggi risorse scarse. Ci stiamo sacrificando per raggiungere l’obiettivo.
Una volta di più i [dK] si sacrificano per il genere umano.

method and hate è giunto alla fase dell’editing-mixing finale.
[glazzy] sta gestendo questa fase, lui è soprannominato il “professore”, perchè è lui ha studiato e lui fa le cose con consapevolezza.
È solo in questa fase, è solo perché l’epilogo di un disco è un’avventura destinata ad una sola persona, alle decisioni di una sola persona, alla visione di una sola persona, al karma di una sola persona.
Gli altri [dK] rivolgono a [glazzy] empatia e fiducia.

For at least 3 years we have been composing tracks for method and hate and we have been thinking, in general, of method and hate.
At the beginning we wanted it to be hostile, hardly listenable.
We even thought about filling the waveforms with square waves normalized to 0dB, saturated, in order to induce severe ear damage to the listener.

In short, we wanted to make a conceptual release, with a punishing objective.
Soon enough, with things progressing, we understood that it would have ended up differently.
Our problem is that we are awesome artists, and regardless of the amount of hatred and violence we can put in the music, the final result can always be labelled as “art” and art is never “ugly”.
A white noise, if it plays a major role in your work, is not ugly.

We just can’t make ugly things.
Hostile maybe, violent maybe, brutal, but always artistically “beautiful”.

Da almeno tre anni abbiamo cominciato a scrivere le canzoni di method and hate e a pensare, in generale, a method and hate.
Inizialmente volevamo che fosse semplicemente ostile, difficilmente ascoltabile.
Pensavamo addirittura di inserire negli arrangiamenti dei frames di onda quadra normalizzata a 0 db con saturazione, con lo scopo di procurare dei danni gravi all’udito dell’ascoltatore.

Insomma volevamo fare un disco concettuale dalla finalità punitiva.
Ben presto, col progredire delle cose, abbiamo capito che non sarebbe andata così.
Il nostro problema è che siamo artisti meravigliosi, e per quanto odio e violenza possiamo mettere nella musica, il risultato finale viene sempre codificato come arte, e l’arte non è mai “brutta”.
Un rumore bianco se ha un ruolo fondamentale nella tua opera non è brutto.

A noi proprio non riesce di fare cose brutte. Ostili forse, violente forse, brutali, ma artisticamente comunque “belle”.

Our new release will be called Method and Hate, we have been finalizing it in the last months.

Our last major release was “Crack”, in 2004.
We are proud of it, we think it’s magnificent.
It has been substantially ignored by mankind.
We have been wondering if it made sense to donate the world another masterpiece after Crack, when the latter has been brutally sunk and it is now lying on the bottom of the ocean.
The answer was yes. The reason is that we can’t refrain ourselves from composing marvellous music, regardless on who will listen to it, independently on emotional and intellectual poorness of who will be listening to it.

Method and Hate is the result of this answer.

Il nostro nuovo disco si intitolerà Method and Hate, lo stiamo completando in questi mesi.

Il nostro ultimo disco importante è stato “Crack”, del 2004.
Siamo orgogliosi di Crack, pensiamo sia un disco bellissimo.
Crack è stato sostanzialmente ignorato dagli esseri umani.
Ci siamo chiesti se avesse senso donare al mondo un altro capolavoro, dopo Crack, dal momento che quest’ultimo è stato brutalmente inabissato e ora giace sul fondo dell’oceano.
La risposta è stata si. Il motivo è che non possiamo astenerci dal fare musica meravigliosa, a prescindere da chi la ascolterà, a prescindere dalla miseria emotiva e intellettiva di chi lo ascolterà.
